A number of imported pasteurized cow’s and goat’s milk cheeses are being recalled due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled products were all produced by French manufacturer Chavegrand. Food Standards of Australia and New Zealand (FRANZ) reported that Global Foods Group PTY LTD is conducting a recall of Mon Ami and Emborg soft cheeses. The products have been available for sale in Woolworths, Coles, IGA, and other independent grocery stores nationally and online. The products involved are Mon Ami Brie - French 200g; Mon Ami Camembert - French 200g; Mon Ami Petit Camembert - French 125g; Mon Ami Double Cream Le Fromager 300g; and Mon Ami Petit Brie - Double Cream French Brie 125g. all dates up to and including November 02, 2025, are included. Two Emborg products, Fresh Brie 200 g and Fresh Camembert 200 g, are included. All dates up to and including: 01 10 2025 FSANZ is working with state and territory food enforcement agencies and food businesses to recall affected products. Australian government authorities are also working with international counterparts to manage this issue.
