Boxed cucumbers were recalled due to Salmonella

The FDA reported a recall of various cucumber products due to potential Salmonella contamination. Primo No. 1 in Produce, based in Pennsylvania, issued a voluntary recall for the products on May 20. The FDA subsequently issued a Class I risk classification for the recall on September 15, 2025. The products were distributed in cardboard boxes to retail locations in Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. As of September 15, no illnesses had been reported by the FDA in connection with the consumption of the recalled products.
