Raaw Energy Pet food recalled due to Salmonella, Listeria, Campylobacter, and E. coli

The FDA issued a warning in January 2026, later updated in March 2026, advising consumers not to feed their pets specific lots of Raaw Energy (Adelphia, New Jersey) frozen dog food due to contamination with eight kinds of products contaminated with Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, Campylobacter jejuni, and one sample with  E. coli. The contaminated products are 2-lb. and 5-lb. clear plastic tubes, often sold in brown cardboard boxes, with date codes ranging from July 2025 to December 2025. Affected products, often sold in raw, frozen, or ground forms, were distributed throughout the Northeast and mid-Atlantic United States (CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, PA, VA, RI, VT, and WV). The impacted products include various sizes and date codes of chicken medley, salmon, beef chicken medley, beef turkey medley, and beef chicken tripe medley.
