The FDA is updating the advisory to include information on the recall and international distribution of Moringa Powder. Based on epidemiological information collected by the CDC, a total of seven people infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella have been reported from seven states. Illnesses started on dates ranging from November 7, 2025, to January 8, 2026. Of the three people interviewed, three (100%) reported eating Rosabella-brand moringa powder capsules. There have been three hospitalizations, and no deaths have been reported. The Salmonella strain associated with this outbreak is resistant to all first-line and alternative antibiotics commonly recommended for the treatment of Salmonella infections. Customer information provided by the firm shows that recalled product was sold to consumers in Algeria, Anguilla, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Marshall Islands, Mexico, Nauru, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe.
