More Ground Cinnamon products added to FDA Public Health Alert due to Elevated Levels of Lead

The FDA added more ground cinnamon products to the list of products with elevated levels of lead, including: October 10, 2025-HAETAE-brand and Roshni-brand ground cinnamon, which contain elevated levels of lead. The FDA collected samples of these products at a retail establishment. Exposure to these products may be unsafe. October 8, 2025-Durra-brand and Wise Wife-brand ground cinnamon. Samples of these products were collected at a retail establishment by the FDA. September 12, 2025- Jiva Organic ground cinnamon. The samples were collected at a retail establishment by the FDA.  November 1, 2024-Super Brand ground cinnamon. The samples were collected at a retail establishment by the Arkansas Department of Health and reviewed by the FDA. The FDA is advising consumers to throw away and not to buy the ground cinnamon products because samples of products listed in the table were found to contain elevated levels of lead.
