On July 16, 2026, MAPAQ, in collaboration with Fromagerie Des Grondines (274, 2nd East, in Deschambault-Grondines), advises the public not to consume Grondines and Lachevrotière brand cheeses by Fromagerie Des Grondines. Since these cheeses were prepared and sold without proper treatment to eliminate Staphylococcus aureus, posing an emetic intoxication risk. The products are likely to contain Staphylococcus aureus. “Grondines were offered for sale in a few establishments in the province of Quebec between July 8 and 15, 2026; at Lachevrotière the units were sold exclusively at the cheese shop from July 4 to 9. They were sold refrigerated. The manufacturer is recalling the products. They have agreed with the Ministry to issue this warning as a precautionary measure. The cheeses were sold exclusively at the fromagerie from July 4 to July 9, 2026. @ https://www.quebec.ca/nouvelles/actualites/details/mise-en-garde-a-la-population-presence-possible-de-staphylococcus-aureus-dans-les-fromages-grondines-et-lachevrotiere-prepares-et-vendus-par-lentreprise-fromagerie-des-grondines-71941
