On August 3, 2026, MAPAQ, in collaboration with the company La trappe à fromage de l'Outaouais, advised the public not to consume GRONDINES cheese. The product is likely to contain Staphylococcus aureus. The product was offered for sale in two establishments: The Outaouais cheese trap at 114 Saint-Raymond Boulevard, in Gatineau (Hull sector); and the Outaouais cheese trap at 193 Old Chelsea Road, local 105, in Chelsea. The product was wrapped in plastic film. It was sold refrigerated. The company is recalling the product. They have agreed with the Ministry and the City of Montreal's Food Inspection Division to issue this warning as a precautionary measure. The product affected includes “grondines” cheese of all sizes sold from July 3 to 15, 2026. @ https://www.quebec.ca/nouvelles/actualites/details/mise-en-garde-a-la-population-presence-possible-de-staphylococcus-aureus-dans-le-fromage-grondines-vendu-par-lentreprise-la-trappe-a-fromage-de-loutaouais-72143
