In New Zealand, the New Zealand Food Safety (NZFS) reported that on March 15, 2026, the Goodfood Group LTD recalled a batch of Emborg Emmental Cheese (200G), due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The product was sold at retail outlets, supermarkets, and online throughout New Zealand. This product was not re-exported. There have been no reports of illness. The batch of Emborg Emmentaler has a best before date of 05.11.26.
