In New Zealand, the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) issued a notice regarding a recall of certain Akaroa King Salmon products (Mānuka Cold Smoked Slices and Mānuka Cold Smoked Trim) by Ahi Mokopuna Limited Partnership due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. Both Akaroa King Salmon brand Mānuka Cold Smoked Slices (100 g) and Trim (500 g) with Use By 29 Dec 25, Batch No. 46780, are affected by this recall. The products are sold in 100 g and 500 g plastic packaging. The products were sold in the South Island at: Akaroa Salmon Wigram Factory Shop: 89 Treffers Road, Wigram, Christchurch 8042, Beckenham Butchery: 7/140 Colombo Street, Sydenham, Christchurch 8023, and Taste Nature: 131 High Street, Central Dunedin, Dunedin 9016.
