In Canada, various brands of sandwiches and wraps were recalled due to Salmonella

The CFIA reported that Aliments Martel Inc. recalled more than 65 deli meat products from various sandwich and wrap brands due to Salmonella. The products were sold in Quebec under brands like Ultra Martel, Sélection Martel, and Bistro Express. The products were distributed to retail in Quebec, Canada, and are being recalled as a precautionary measure. The outbreak sickened 88 people. Illnesses were reported in British Columbia (1), Alberta (69), Manitoba (1), and Ontario (17). The illness reported in British Columbia is linked to travel to Alberta, PHAC reported.
