The Public Health Agency of Canada reports that select Pillsbury Pizza Pops sold in Canada are being recalled due to potential E. coli O26 contamination. The affected products are Pizza Pops products sold in Canada: Pepperoni + Bacon (30 count), Pepperoni + Bacon (8 count), Supremo Extreme Pepperoni + Bacon (30 count), and FRANK’s RedHot Pepperoni + Bacon (4 count). The recall notice also identifies best-before windows from June 9, 2026, through June 14, 2026, depending on the product. Pizza Pops Pepperoni + Bacon, Pizza Pops Supremo Extreme Pepperoni + Bacon, and Pizza Pops FRANK’s RedHot Pepperoni + Bacon, all with best before dates in June 2026. The Public Health Agency of Canada says the outbreak includes 22 illnesses. Provinces and territories with illnesses include British Columbia (3), Alberta (9), Saskatchewan (5), Manitoba (2), Ontario (2), New Brunswick (1), and Newfoundland and Labrador (1). Five people have been hospitalized, and there have been no deaths. People became sick between early October and late November 2025.
