Since November 12, 2025, a steadily updated recall has been documented in Canada. In Quebec, MAPAQ, in collaboration with the company ChocoStyle 440 (3535, service road North Laval West), advises the public not to consume PISTACHIO CHOCOLATE BAR, and PISTACHIO BITES, as they are likely to contain Salmonella. The products were offered for sale between October 27, 2025, and March 3, 2026, at the company location, on its website, and possibly at the Quartier des Spectacles Christmas market in Montreal. They were sold at room temperature. The company is recalling the products in question. They have agreed with the Ministry to issue this warning as a precautionary measure. Furthermore, anyone in possession of one of these products is advised not to consume it. Salmonella was found to survive on pistachios for at least one full year during storage. @ https://www.quebec.ca/nouvelles/actualites/details/mise-en-garde-a-la-population-presence-possible-de-salmonelle-dans-les-barres-de-chocolat-aux-pistaches-et-les-bouchees-de-chocolat-aux-pistaches-preparees-et-vendues-par-lentreprise-chocostyle-440-69727
