In Canada, Les Fermes Lufa Broccoli microgreens were recalled due to pathogenic E. coli sold in Quebec and Ontario

The CFIA has issued a recall for Les Fermes Lufa brand broccoli microgreens due to possible contamination with pathogenic E. coli. The recall applies to MicroVerdure Microgreens in Broccoli (80g), Summery Fusion (150g), and Spicy Trio (80g), all with best-before dates of May 15 or May 22, 2026. Also, 50-gram packs of broccoli microgreens were sold online in Ontario and Quebec between April 20 and May 8, 2026. According to the CFIA, consumers should not consume, use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected product. The company initiated the recall. No illnesses linked to the product have been reported.
