In Canada, Heeva Fine Foods pistachio nuts were recalled due to Salmonella

In Canada, the CFIA reported that more pistachios were contaminated with Salmonella, and Heeva Fine Foods (10454 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, ON) recalled its contaminated pistachios. The recall is the continuation of the pistachio recalls from Iran. As of late 2025/early 2026, investigations have confirmed dozens of illnesses, with multiple hospitalizations across provinces, including B.C., Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.
