In Canada, Country Grocer Super Mac Mix was recalled due to Salmonella

The CFIA reported that Country Grocer Super Mac nut mixes were recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination. Two bulk nut mixes sold at Country Grocer stores across Vancouver Island were recalled. The unsalted “Super Mac Mix” was sold in bulk from Nov. 18, 2025, to Feb. 24, 2026, at Country Grocer locations in Nanaimo, Chemainus, Cedar, Royal Oak, Lake Cowichan, and Duncan. The salted variety of the nut mix was sold at the same stores and locations during the same time, including Cobble Hill and Salt Spring Island. The products did not have UPCs and were available in variable quantities. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
