In Australia, Parilla Fresh recalled various alfalfa sprout products due to Salmonella

The Food Standards Australia reported that Parilla Fresh has various alfalfa sprout products due to Salmonella. The product(s) have been available for sale at Woolworths and Coles in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA, and NT, and at independent grocers, including IGA in NSW, Harris Farm in NSW, ACT, and VIC, Sydney Markets in NSW, and Melbourne Markets in VIC, with potential Salmonella. The products have made at least 44 people ill across Australia. The products have use by date of November 20, 2025. Brands are sold in major supermarkets (Aussie Sprouts and Hugo’s) and independent groceries.
