Costco recalled meatloaf with mashed potatoes meals sold in 26 states due to Salmonella contamination

Costco has recalled its Meatloaf with Mashed Yukon Potatoes and Glaze products due to potential Salmonella contamination. The items were sold in 26 states (Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin). Consumers who bought the meatloaf kit are urged to return it to their local Costco store for a refund. The recall is due to an ingredient in the meatloaf that may be contaminated with Salmonella. Costco said the affected product, labeled with Sell By Dates between 03/05/2026 and 03/16/2026, was sold at multiple Costco locations. The company noted that consumers may have purchased the items between March 2 and March 13.
