The outbreak of Cyclospora (ref #1390) linked to iceberg lettuce, FDA updated the outbreak advisory on July 24, 2026. The advisory includes that Cyclospora infections are linked to iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico and recalled by Taylor Farms de Mexico. The illnesses included in this outbreak are a subset of the Cyclospora infections identified nationwide. This outbreak now includes illnesses from 9 states: Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The outbreak of Cyclospora (ref #1384) linked to an unidentified product, the outbreak has ended. The outbreak of Salmonella Oranienburg (ref #1387), linked to an unidentified product, has increased from 81 to 90 cases. The outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 (ref #1382) linked to an unidentified product has ended. The outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis (ref #1378) linked to eggs produced by Midwest Poultry Services. The FDA issued an advisory.
