Core update as of February 19, 2026

The CORE update lists six outbreak and adverse event postings. The outbreak of Salmonella Newport (ref #1365) linked to recalled Rosabella-brand moringa powder capsules, the FDA has issued an advisory. Consumers and retailers should not eat, sell, or distribute recalled Rosabella-brand moringa powder capsules. The FDA has initiated a traceback. On February 13, 2026, Ambrosia Brands, LLC, recalled certain lots of Rosabella-brand moringa powder capsules. The recalled product was available for sale nationwide and internationally. A total of seven people infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella have been reported from seven states (AZ, FL, IA, IL, IN, TN, WA). Three (100%) reported eating Rosabella-brand moringa powder capsules. There have been three hospitalizations, and no deaths have been reported. The outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes (ref #1290) linked to prepared pasta meals, the FDA updated the advisory to share final investigational updates. As of February 11, 2026, a total of 28 people infected with the outbreak strain of Listeria have been reported from 19 states (AZ, CA, FL, HI, IL, IN, LA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NV, OH, OR, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA). Of the 28 people with information available, 27 have been hospitalized, and 7 deaths have been reported. One pregnancy-associated illness resulted in a fetal loss.
