This recall had a huge ripple effect through the food industry. Many companies that used Valley Milk Products (VMP) in their products had to recall their products. Now we are at the phase where companies that are 3 levels removed from VMP are recalling their products. For example, seasoning containing Valley milk Products and sold by seasoning companies to their customers.

With no Salmonella detected in any of the recalled products, and no illness reported. Are all these recalls justified?
